Entry fees will be collected through the Paypal system, which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Fencers with an existing Paypal account should use their account to make the payment; fencers without a Paypal account may choose to open an account or to pay direct.

Having problems with Paypal? Our Paypal Help Sheet may be of assistance.

Online entries will be accepted on the same terms as those using the standard entry form, provided that payment is received at the time of entry. Any entries received without the appropriate fee will be classified as late and will attract the late entry surcharge. In addition, entries received with fees will be given priority in the event of entry limits being applied.
The Merseyside Open is a BFA Registered Competition. In order to take part, fencers must hold the appropriate BFA membership through one of the Home Country associations or the equivalent membership of another national fencing association.
For further details on membership requirements, please click here.
In order to help with registration, please take out or renew your membership before arriving at the tournament. Please note that fencers who do not have proof of membership will have to join the BFA on the day. We are no longer able to accept declarations of membership.
