Discounts:-

We try to value all our customers and therefore do not operate a minimum order quantity or value. Instead we try to encourage bulk orders by offering generous discounts for quantity as follows:-

For orders of £25 or more, a discount of 10% will be given.

Orders with a value in excess of £100 will qualify for a discount of 20%

Postage & Packing Rates:-

As a matter of principle our charges for postage and packing are based on actual costs and are therefore lower than other mail-order record retailers.

U.K.:-

7" singles / CDs - 75p for the first and 25p each thereafter.

12" / LPs - £1.50 for the first and 50p each thereafter.

Overseas:-

Postage and packing will be quoted at actual cost. We will calculate cost based upon the actual weight of your parcel - please trust us to this fairly and don't be too afraid - costs are not as high as are often feared. As a general guide, rates to Europe are not that much higher than within the UK, while those to the rest of the world are actually much lower than those usually charged (as a rule other mail-order traders and e-bay sellers typically charge about twice the correct rate!). We send all records by air mail and accept full responsibility for any missing parcels.

How To Order:-

Record Descriptions:-

We always try to describe records as accurately as possible in the space available and less than 1% of records sold are returned as not meeting the stated grade. However, we do still offer a full money-back guarantee with no questions asked should you not be fully satisfied.

Unless otherwise stated all records are original vinyl UK issues.

Records are graded according to Record Collector standards and can be summarised as follows:-

E = Excellent. May have been played a few times, but shows no deterioration in quality.
V = Very Good. Has obviously been played frequently, but without any serious damage.
G = Good.
Well worn with serious background noise. For the desperate only.
F = Fair. Barely playable. For completists only.

Note:- As all records are second-hand, we do not use the term 'Mint' even where it seems to be justified.

Two grades are given for records with picture sleeves (i.e. all LPs/EPs and most 45s since about 1977) - the first grade relates to the sleeve and the second to the actual record.

In addition to the general gradings above, more specific defects are denoted as follows:-

NOC = No original centre.
TOL = Tear on label.
MOL = Mark on label.
WOL = Writing on label.
TOC = Tear on cover.
WOC = Writing on cover.

Abbreviations prefixed by S denote small/slight e.g. SWOL = Small writing on label.

Other abbreviations used to provide further details of records, covers and contents are as follows:-

Pic = Picture sleeve (only used for 45s - all LPs have original sleeves)
Pic Disc = Picture Disc.
Tri/Round = Triangular/Round centre (only specified where both may exist i.e. 45s from the 1950s)
Inner = Inner sleeve (printed with lyrics, photos, etc.)
Insert = Includes special insert (lyric sheet, photo, etc.)
G/F = Gatefold sleeve (only specified where non G/F issue may exist)
Mono/Ster = Mono/Stereo (only specified where both versions may exist)
Autog. = Autographed (by artist or group member not previous owner!)
