This very attractive and cosy one hundred and fifty year old fisherman’s cottage is in the heart of the old village of Mumbles. Situated just off the shore front, Claubey Cottage is in a pedestrian access only mews, and is approached via steps beside the George Hotel. 

Claubey is the last cottage in a row of six and has a lovely hardwood conservatory to the side, opening onto a delightful private patio area with built in BBQ, garden table and chairs and wonderful panoramic views over the magnificent sweep of Swansea Bay.

The Mumbles Hill with its extensive walks and dramatic views over the Bristol Channel is easily accessible from the cottage. Coastal and cliff paths walks, fishing, water sports, restaurants and ice cream parlours, childrens play areas, church and shops are all nearby. 

The cottage is well very furnished and decorated, with terracotta floor tiling throughout the ground floor. The lounge which features its original old oak beams and restored stone wall, has a coal effect gas fire, three piece suite, dining table and chairs, small pine welsh dresser, colour television and occasional furniture. The modern kitchen is well equipped with solid pine wooden wall and floor units and has a gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, new fridge with ice box, toaster, coffee perculator, kettle and radio/cd player etc. An automatic washing machine has been installed December 2004. Situated off the kitchen is the conservatory, furnished with wicker chairs and side tables. The ground floor bathroom has a shower, wash hand basin and wc.

Upstairs the double bedroom has an attractive old style wardrobe and dressing table, with two bedside cabinets. There are two single beds in the twin bedroom, a modern double pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and two pine bedside cabinets. We provide duvets, pillows and bedspreads on all our beds. 

A gas fired combi boiler provides central heating and hot water. There is free parking beside the George Hotel, all along the road and on the foreshore. Strictly non smmoking. Pets accepted by arrangement. Available for holidays all year. Price £220.00 - £ 490.00 per week.
