| Frankfurt was the first place I travelled to in 2003 all on my own, for a job interview at a German Bank. Having got a cheap flight for only 99pence from Ryan Air, I paid more in parking fees than the flight. Turns out theirs two airports in in Frankfurt, their Hahn and main Frankfurt. I was about 150km for where I needed to be. However the public transport was available, cheap and reliable. The people I found on the whole to be friendly, some spoke a little English, others simply chose not to, but I arrived at my hotel safely. One of the things that stuck in my mind was the amount of graffiti in Frankfurt itself. Having met my potential employers I discovered they had a great sense of humour and was offered the job on the spot. The 48 hours was hectic and my memories of Germany are of airports, hotels and autobahn's. Photo's have moved to Flickr Frankfurt Photo's
