Scott Squirrel
Just a wee bit about my dad's classic vintage Scott Squirrel.
This is a photograph of my "Two Speed Sports Squirrel "of 1929 manufacture.
I was working as an Inspector for an Insurance Company in the Inverness area in 1967 and in the course of my work called at a small croft called ARDROSS SMITHY COTTAGE in Alness, Ross-shire. On leaving the cottage I spotted motorcycle handle bars sticking out of a bunch of nettles in the garden, and on enquiring was told it was a "Scott" motorcycle and had been there for a few years.
I enquired about purchasing the Scott and was told I was a brave man as it would never run again. The Scott came with the original registration document Reg No TL 838.
