Ferry Corsten
Ferry Corsten, aka Moonman and
half of Veracoche, Gouryella and System F is without doubt one of Trance's
new wave of superstars. Although only 23, he has been turning out quality
tunes and remixes for ages. Yet it is only this year that he has achieved
the success that his music deserves.
With classics such as "Out of the Blue" and "Gouryella" ripping up
Europe's dancefloors and creating a buying frenzy amongst label A&R men
this young man from Holland has a bright future in front of him.
Ferry seems to be involved in everything good in the Trance world these
days, so it should come as no surprise that he is boss of the fantastic
Tsunami label, as well as partnering Vincent De Moor in the Deal label.
Looking through the tunes that have recently been rocking the clubs,
Ferry's name crops up again and again, with anthems such as "Out of The
Blue", "Gouryella", "Don't Be Afraid" and "Carte Blanche" all coming from
the mind of Corsten plus remixes for people such as Marc et Claude, Binary
Finary, Art of Trance and William Orbit.
So things are looking good for Ferry. I sincerely hopes he continues in
the same vain as his recent cuts and if his DJ'ing sets continue as they
have done already at Peach, Cream and Gatecrasher then we should be in for
more beautiful, pumping cuts of Dutch Trance.
