So Solid Crew

 

To celebrate the launch of their new website So Solid Crew are giving fans the chance to hear their entire upcoming debut album online.
The South London outfit release They Don’t Know On November 19 but from today (November 12) fans can listen to streams from all the tracks in the VIP section of the official new website www.sosolid.com
As well as this worldwide exclusive playback of the album the site features an amazing car chase game and service where people can text message directly to the site.
Without doubt the most highly anticipated debut album from a UK act this year, They Don’t know proves that they have the sheer talent, energy and originality to live up to the phenomenal hype.
The crew have just announced dates for their UK tour, which kicks off in Norwich on December 5. If you can’t wait that long you can catch some of the members on their MC and DJ tour.
The album features 21 Seconds and new single They Don’t Know plus a remix of the track Oh No (Sentimental Things) that first launched them into the mainstream consciousness early this year.

DJ MAGAZINE TOP 100

 

Sasha fell from the top last night at DJ Magazines annual Top 100 DJ Awards, as John Digweed became the number one DJ with Sasha taking second place and New York legend Danny Tenaglia at number three. 
The event was held at a DJ-studded club night at London’s Heaven club in Charing Cross.

Progress, Derby releases NYE plans!

Derby clubbing institution Progress has announced details of its New Year’s Eve celebrations at The Gatehouse club. 
 
Heading the bill will be Andy Farley, Rob Tissera, Yomanda, Steve Thomas, Pete Wye, Marc Brough, Rob Webster, Halo, Andy Vessey, Scott Lorimer and Funk Daddy Russell. 
 
Proceedings kick off at 9.30pm and go through to 6am on New Year’s Day.
