GUY WILLIAMS

Guy Williams started DJaying his funky house sound in 1992 at the Hacienda and Athenaeum in what was then the clubbing capital of the world:  Manchester.

 Guy soon became a regular guest at top clubs such as Vague, Trash, and Ministry of Sound and from 1995 to 1997 he took up residency at Manchester’s Holy City Zoo playing alongside such greats as Danny Tenaglia, Lil Louis and Tony Humphries.

 1997 saw a permanent move to London as Guy took up the position of Promotions Manager for Jive Records. His Djaying career took him all over Europe and to San Francisco where he played live on the radio show – ‘Your Mama’s House’. 

Guy plays regularly at clubs in Paris, Switzerland, Germany and later this year Tokyo. The last two years have seen him gain residencies at London’s famous underground club Trade, DTPM, CoCo Latte and more recently HOME.

 He has remixed under the name : Science Friction  - completing mixes for Roachford, Tina Cousins and Smoke City.

 For the year 2000 Guy has teamed up with London DJ, Luke Howard to form ‘Hey Zeus’ and their debut track ‘A Real Man’ is due for release March/April.

 From June – Dec ’99 Guy presented “The Trade Experience” – a weekly radio show on National station – Atlantic 252. In this time the audience figures rose by 144%!!

 As well as mixing the cover-mount CD on Octobers M8 magazine Guy has been asked to mix the forthcoming “Disco House” compilation on React.
