| The
aeroplane in the background over the top of the dome is
going in to, land at London City Airport which lies just
across the river from the dome site.The actual air strip
is on the quay side what was part of the London Docks.To
each side of the strip is a body of water.The Royal
Albert Dock on one side and The King George The V on the
other.Aeroplanes used here are propeller jets and small
jets that can operate using short take off and landing.I
think the flights operate to quite a few European
destinations. |
