TOTE PLACEPOT
TOTE PLACEPOT.... A bet at any horse race meeting. You must pick a horse to be placed in each of the 1st six races at the same meeting, (Check placepot races in case of any variance at a meeting, i.e.walkovers, match races etc are not usually included).
As with the Jackpot, money goes into a pool and after costs, the pool is divided between the all the correct placepots. Dividends are to £1 unit.
You can bet in smaller and larger amounts and if successful be paid out accordingly.
Perms are accepted as in the Jackpot.
Multiply the number of selections chosen in each race together then multiply by your stake unit,
eg:- 2x2x1x4x1x3=48 bets, then 48x (your stake).
Enter your selections by number in each race on the placepot slip.
If you select a horse and it does not run (NR), then you are automatically put on the favourite.
In the event of there being joint or co-favourites, then you will be put on the co-favourite that has the lowest number eg:- 2,3 and 7 are co-favourites, so you will be on number 2.
