TOTE SCOOP 6
TOTE SCOOP 6:.......One bet at a stake of £2. Six selections from Six specified horse races on a Saturday.
The idea is to pick one selection from each of the designated television races in time order.
This is a Tote bet.
All money goes into a pool for win fund/place fund/bonus fund. The £2 stake is divided into the three funds, consequently, the more people that play - the bigger the funds.
1. If all your selections win you either win the 'win fund' outright OR share it with other all correct entries (returns = win dividend). You also win the 'place dividend'.
2. If all your selections are placed, then you will get the 'place dividend'.
3. If you do pick all 6 winners then you qualify to play for the 'bonus fund' in the bonus race, usually the following Saturday.
Certain rules do apply eg:- if not enough races due to void race or abandoned meetings etc.
You can also increase you chances of winning by doing perms (more than one selection in some or all of the races).
Simply multiply the number of selections chosen in each race together eg:-
2x1x1x2x3x2=24 bets - then multiply by your stake - 24 x £2 = £48 staked.
If you select a horse and it does not run (NR), then you are automatically put on the favourite.
In the event of there being joint or co-favourites, then you will be put on the co-favourite that has the lowest number eg:- 2,3 and 7 are co-favourites, so you will be on number 2.
