Totes in other countries

In most other countries, other than the U.K., and Ireland, Tote betting is the normal way to bet. Dividends for win, place, show, forecasts, tricasts, etc are relative to that countries rules and currency.

An example of this is in the U.S.A, where they pay separate dividends for the winner, 2nd and the 3rd, as win, place and show. Also, coupled horses are coupled -- not by ownership of the horses, but by the trainer of the horses. Dividends in the U.S.A are declared to a $2 unit.

Use the same method, for settling tote returns from other countries, as used in the U.K.
