Special Interest Groups
Within its ranks the BMSS has members with a wide and diverse range of interests. Many of the Society's members are acknowledged experts in various fields, either in particular aspects of modelling or collecting, or in related areas such as uniforms and equipment. To bring together members with specialist interests who may be geographically distant from each other, and to enable members to benefit from the depth of experience and expertise in the Society, Special Interest Groups were formed.
The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are now well established. Since their foundation a few years ago the numbers of SIGs has grown steadily as members appreciate the benefits from this additional method of communication with fellow enthusiasts, a service which the BMSS is able to provide owing to its broad national membership.
