phobias
produce reactions which are commonly described as inside the sufferer
yet outside of their control .
Phobic reactions towards many different situations , objects , sounds,
feelings, tastes, smells, animals, insects, spiders ,fish and birds are far
more common than the phobic ever thinks. The reactions to these and many
more "Trigger Stimuli" can be at best unpleasant and at worst can destroy a
persons lifestyle, health and happiness ,more often than not stopping a person
doing the very thing they would like to do ,or something which they used to do
with no problem at all.!
Any person suffering from a phobia really doesn't
need me to tell them how miserable it can make a person feel ,even to the
point of desperation. Physical symptoms are ( The reaction
produces Fear, Panic, Heart palpitations, Hyperventilation, Disorientation and
in some cases unconsciousness. These reactions come under the broader heading
of
Panic attacks.
To many people Phobias are a source of great amusement and ridicule, to
the phobic they are not !
What causes such an extreme and wrongly perceived reaction to danger ?
The reaction is caused by a conflict within the unconscious mind ,which caused
the mind to "REPRESS" an incident which at the time the mind could not cope
with. Repressing the incident at the time caused emotion to be trapped this
caused Anxiety which needs to be expressed in some way .Your mind or the mind
of any phobic chose to express this Anxiety by producing a phobia. It linked
the feelings at the time, to the chosen "Trigger Stimuli", whatever it may
have been, and consequently the phobia was born. The process is completely out
of our conscious control and our awareness ,sadly the reaction is anything but
out of the phobics awareness ,but is still out of their control.

How can Hypnotherapy Help with Phobias
Hypno-Analysis
is
a form of therapy which follows the doctrine of
"cause and effect". This means that for
every symptom displayed (effect) there is a cause.
The aim of Hypno-analysis is to find the cause of the and release it ,
once released the symptom (s) will disappear forever.
Hypno -analysis is at it's most effective when dealing with emotional
problems and nervous disorders as they respond particularly well to this
form of therapy.
The Analytical therapy aims to bring within the client a moment best
described as a surprising and liberating enlightenment. This moment of
enlightenment is most commonly found within
8-12
sessions
of analysis . When the cause of the anxiety has been found and released the
symptoms are gone for good.
This is an all encompassing therapy which produces complete freedom from
the symptoms as opposed to merely controlling the effects of symptoms with
anti-depressants, homeopathic remedies ,
smoking
, drinking or Counselling etc.
