Physical
Problems With No Physiological Reason
Persistent
Somatoform Pain Disorders
This disorder commonly shows itself as backache, headache, (particularly
Migraine) but can attack any part of the body. It must be stressed that the
treatment of all physical "illnesses" such as pain must first have been
diagnosed as being of no physiological or physical disorder.
The onset of a psychogenic pain disorder is usually associated with a emotional
conflict or psychological problems. The pain in these cases is usually severe
persistent and quite obviously very distressing.
Anatomic
Dysfunction
This is an area where anxiety produces physical symptoms within the body.
These symptoms having been proved to be of psychogenic nature, that is to say
they are not caused by disease or physical disorder .
Peptic Ulcers
Acid indigestion is a frequent complaint in many adults. The over production of
acids in the stomach which in time erodes the stomach lining or duodenum (first
part of the small intestine) this causes open and painful sores.
Essential
Hypertension
High blood pressure which in 90% of cases is due to psychological causes.
Asthma
Asthma attacks occur when a narrowing of the bodily passages that allow oxygen
to enter the lungs and carbon dioxide to be exhaled. This disorder of the
respiratory process causes coughing , wheezing, and often a degree of
breathlessness that leads to gasping for air and excessive apprehension.
Asthma is often linked with allergies which are also classic symptoms of anxiety
.
How can Hypnotherapy Help with your Physical Problems
Hypno-Analysis
is
a form of therapy which follows the doctrine of
"cause and effect". This means that for
every symptom displayed (effect) there is a cause.
The aim of Hypno-analysis is to find the cause of the and release it ,
once released the symptom (s) will disappear forever.
Hypno -analysis is at it's most effective when dealing with emotional
problems and nervous disorders as they respond particularly well to this
form of therapy.
The Analytical therapy aims to bring within the client a moment best
described as a surprising and liberating enlightenment. This moment of
enlightenment is most commonly found within
8-12
sessions
of analysis . When the cause of the anxiety has been found and released the
symptoms are gone for good.
This is an all encompassing therapy which produces complete freedom from
the symptoms as opposed to merely controlling the effects of symptoms with
anti-depressants, homeopathic remedies ,
smoking
, drinking or Counselling etc.
Suggestion therapy
can be used in conjunction
with Analytical therapy and used to treat many forms of stress related
symptoms. I have only mentioned four of the most common problems which
suggestion therapy can be used .
If you have
questions about symptoms not mentioned in this list please feel free to
