No.
1 Ringwood Terrace is a charming late Victorian cottage at the end of a
terrace of four houses overlooking
Waters Green which is available
to rent as a holiday cottage throughout the year.
The cottage is situated in a
pleasant and peaceful setting within the conservation area on the edge of the
village of Brockenhurst in the middle of the New Forest and surrounded by some of the older cottages in the area.
Open forest is just yards away and yet the
village shops are within easy level walking distance.
Brockenhurst, meaning Badger’s Wood, is a delightful
village full of character with good village shops, restaurants, riding stables
and many other amenities within easy reach.
The village is well-located for walks and horse riding in the New Forest, sailing on the Solent, visiting the
picturesque seaside town of Lymington, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and Maritime Heritage at Buckler’s
Hard or enjoying the
nearby shoreline and beaches. Brockenhurst is less than 90 minutes from London by car
or by train from Waterloo station.
New Forest ponies and other
forest animals roam freely and often graze on Waters Green.
From the cottage you can walk directly out
onto Butts Lawn and Black Knowl or along the Lymington
River to Queen Bower and Ober
Heath into deep forest.
The cottage sleeps up to six people comfortably in two double bedrooms and one
twin bedroom.
Parking is available off the road in front of the cottage
on the edge of Waters Green.
