Important News for holders of the Waverley & Balmoral Credit Card

Apparently the earlier information was premature but you should by now have received notification from Halifax Card Services that the scheme will end on 2 October.
If you wish to continue to support Waverley and Balmoral, financial savings expert Martin Lewis suggests using a cashback credit card instead of one which earns points or a smaller percentage to charity. You then donate the cashback to your favourite charity, this donation also attracting Gift Aid of course! See for details his web site.
WEL would like to thank all their supporters for using the Halifax cards over the last eight or so years to benefit the cause.
The possibility of a new affinity card from another issuer is being investigated.
