The
iconography along the East coast is irresistible,
I am forever enchanted by the birds, boats,
buoys, salmon nets and fishing creels which
remain as a testimony to the hard labour
of the fishing communities. Inland the chequered
fields and patterns of plough lines give
huge opportunity for abstract structures
in my paintings. |
