November 1985 - Gascoigne Wood surface complete
1987 - Stillingfleet connects to Gascoigne Wood south tunnel
June 1987 - south spine tunnel - drivage complete at 12.2 km
December 1987 - Wistow sets new European record
1988 - Riccall, Stillingfleet, Whitemoor commence production
January 1991 - North Selby comes into production
1991 - Wistow Mine - 711 men produce 108,700 t in 1 week
(January 1995 - purchase of British Coal by RJB)
September 1995 - new European output record - Wistow - 200,743 tonnes in one week
