AN OPEN AIR PRODUCTION

Production starts at 8pm. (Gardens open for Picnics 6.30 pm)

The Multiple Sclerosis Society, Itchen Abbas Church and Itchen Valley Parish will share the proceeds of funds raised from a production of Noel Coward's delightful farce, Blithe Spirit,
in the garden of ‘Southwood House’ Main Road, Itchen Abbas, SO21 1AT.

The cast is a mix of local pantomime stars and a professional actor. The idea is fun and fundraising with picnics in the garden to get you in the mood and a cocktail and wine bar and a fudge stall.

The money raised for the MS Society will benefit local people as it will be used to fund physiotherapy for people with MS at the Hobbs Centre in Martyr Worthy. We are hoping to attract a large audience so that we can make a real difference to local people with MS.

Please contact us for more information and do come and support us if you can.

******  Anne Cartwright – Shining Star Award   ******

Winchester and District branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society has been most fortunate to have had
Anne Cartwright working tirelessly in many roles for many years.
She has been a determined fundraiser and a deputy Chair holding the reins when a chairman was not to be found. But her most valuable contribution has been as our support / welfare officer. Her caring, warm and professional approach to a multitude of problems will always be appreciated by those she has helped.
Anne has always put others first and she unreservedly deserves a ‘Shining Star’ in recognition of her work to help people affected by MS.
This accompanied the award giving and read out by the Mayor…….
The pictures are of the Mayor presenting the award to Anne Cartwright.  For more details please look at the News page or click here
