The site is for anyone who wants to know about Multiple Sclerosis, how to cope with the symptoms and maintain a good quality of life. It is also for anyone who cares for, or has a family member who has multiple sclerosis.

******  Anne Cartwright – Shining Star Award   ******


Winchester and District branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society has been most fortunate to have had
Anne Cartwright working tirelessly in many roles for many years.  She has been a determined fundraiser and a deputy Chair holding the reins when a chairman was not to be found. But her most valuable contribution has been as our support / welfare officer. Her caring, warm and professional approach to a multitude of problems will always be appreciated by those she has helped.
Anne has always put others first and she unreservedly deserves a ‘Shining Star’ in recognition of her work to help people affected by MS.   This accompanied the award giving and read out by the Mayor……. It is a free service for buying and selling used disabled
equipment on the Internet.  
The site was established  with a grant from the Millennium Award Scheme, administered by the MS Society.
