Winchester & District Physiotherapy Group

The Winchester & District Physiotherapy Group started in 2006.

It is held every fortnight on a Tuesday morning from 10.00 am to 11.00 am.

Two qualified Neurological Physiotherapists Sarah and Claire organise the group.

Sarah runs the group and Claire withdraws members for a one to one session.

It is held in The Hobbs Rehabilitation Centre,

at Bridgets Lane, Martyr Worthy, near Winchester.

Each session lasts for one hour and is a mixture of gentle stretching and moving exercises.  It is for anyone who has Multiple Sclerosis whether they are walking or in a wheelchair.   The sessions are paid for by the Winchester & District Multiple Sclerosis Branch. It is very friendly group and everyone enjoys the light hearted social side of the sessions.

How to get there.

Take A34 (Newbury) & then A33 (Basingstoke).
At Kings Worthy turn right onto B3047 (Alresford).
At Martyr Worthy turn left into Bridgets Lane (opposite war memorial).  Hobbs Rehabilitation is situated on the left hand side about ½ mile from the turning, there is a line of tall trees which lines the back of our car park.
