My interest in the Hotchkiss family stems from Ann Hotchkiss who married Thomas Faulkner on 27th December 1786 at Clunbury, Shropshire. They had six children baptised in Clun and Clunbury: Thomas (1787), Richard (1789), Betty (1792), Deborah (1794), John (1797) and George (1803). John may have been my 3xgreat grandfather (and therefore Ann Hotchkiss my 4xgreat grandmother), but I can not be sure because there are two John Faulkners (first cousins) baptised so close to each other in Clun/Clunbury at this time.
I have no clue as to the ancestry of Ann Hotchkiss at the present time.
