Edward Robinson. Married Elizabeth Bowen, 1714, Church Stretton, Salop. Children: William, Edward, Elizabeth. Marriage register states Edward to be a Yeoman of the parish of Cardington; I can not, however, trace him in Cardington. Died 1745, buried Church Stretton. I have a transcription of his Will.
Edward Robinson. Baptised 1718, Church Stretton. Married Elizabeth (maiden name unknown), c. 1747. Children: Thomas, Elizabeth, Ann, Edward, John, Eleanor, William, first five at Church Stretton and last two at Hope Bowdler. Died intestate, c. 1760, burial not traced.
Thomas Robinson, grocer and mercer. Baptised 1748, Church Stretton. Married Anne Cock, 1779, at Church Stretton. Children: Esther, John, Anne, Thomas, Thomas. Died 1819, buried at Church Stretton.
Thomas Robinson, farmer. Born, 1798, Church Stretton. Married Mary Farmer, 1823, Lydbury North, Salop. Children: George, Esther, Thomas, Richard, Thomas, Emma, Esther, Henry, Emily Mary. Emigrated to Melbourne, Australia, in 1852, accompanied by his wife, two sons and a daughter (Thomas, Henry and Emily Mary), but died within two months of arrival.
George Robinson, farmer, cattle dealer and butcher. Born 1824, Little Stretton. Married Margaret Faulkner, 1851, at Church Stretton. Children: George Henry, John Thomas, Emily Margaret, Mary Ann, Charles Edward, William (Edward) Faulkner, Frederick Arthur, Hester Susannah. Died 1889, buried at Church Stretton.
John Thomas Robinson, farmer and innkeeper. Born 1854, Church Stretton. Married Sarah Edwards, 1877, Church Stretton. Children: George Henry, Frederick William, Nellie, Alma, Herbert Thomas, Percy, John, Colin, Frank, Charles. Died 1938 at Overton, Richards Castle, Salop.
Herbert Thomas Robinson, farmer. My grandfather. Born 1884, Church Stretton. Married Elizabeth Annie Constance Harris (known as Connie). Children: Richard, Herbert Colin, Grace, Geoffrey Charles.
