My interest in the Spare family stems from my 7xgreat grandmother, Elizabeth Spare, who married Charles Browne at All Saints Church, Alrewas, Staffs., on April 10th, 1711. They had four children, all baptised at Alrewas: Sarah (1711/2), Elinor (1714), Isaac (1715) and Elizabeth (1716).
Elizabeth was baptised at Elford, Staffs., on September 13th, 1685, the daughter of Robert and Sarah Spare.
