My interest in the Webb family stems from my 6xgreat grandmother, Mary Webb, who married Samuel Tompkins at Caynham, Shropshire, in 1702. They had six children born and/or baptised at Caynham: Jane (bapt. October 14th, 1704), Isobel (1709-1710), Isobel (b. 1710), Edward (1713-1768), Anne (my 5xggm) (bapt. April 1st, 1718) and Mary (bapt. April 26th, 1724, died 1724).
I have not yet attempted to trace Mary's ancestors or any other research on the Webb family.
