My interest in the Wright family stems from my 5xgreat grandmother, Mary Wright, who married Elias Froggatt on March 25th, 1765, at St. Chad's Church, Lichfield, Staffordshire. Mary was baptised on July 3rd, 1743, at Lichfield, St. Chad, the daughter of Abel Wright and Elizabeth (née Thurstones). She is probably the Mary Froggatt buried on July 18th 1813, at Bitterley, though the burial register records her as aged 78 when in fact she would have only been 70.
Abel Wright and Elizabeth Thurstones were married on January 25th, 1740, at Lichfield St. Chad, Staffs.
