Every teacher of the Alexander Technique has reinvented the technique and her or his teaching is unique. And yet all true teachers of the technique retain a core understanding of what governs human behaviour that they have learnt from Alexander himself and from his successors.

All the teachers at the centre are members of STAT (The Society of Teachers of The Alexander Technique).

The Bloomsbury Alexander Centre was established in 1987 as a convenient central location for people having lessons and for those looking for books and information about the Alexander Technique.
