No Issue The following is an extract from a newspaper clipping relating to Charles when he was appointed engineer-in-charge, London (sound) for the B.B.C. F.C. Brooker, A.M.I.E.E., has been appointed by the B.B.C., engineer-in-charge, London (sound), in succession to C. E. Bottle, M.B.E., who has retired after 34 years of service with the corporation. Mr. Brooker joined the B.B.C. in 1935, and in 1941 became an instructor in the engineering training department, where he remained until 1948. during this period, he wrote the B.B.C.'s first engineering training manual. |
