This lovely spacious split level villa is situated in a third of an acre of olive trees on an East facing hillside about three hundred metres from the centre of the village. It was built for us in 1990 and extended in 2001. It is of traditional construction and fully furnished for our own occupation. There is an entrance hall, which leads into family room, that has a verandah facing East, overlooking the garden, pool and surrounding countryside. The family room has a woodburning stove, a TV capable of receiving French terrestrial and Sky digital `free-to-air' satellite stations and DVD player. Plenty of comfortable seating is provided. The separate fully fitted kitchen off the family room contains fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. On the same level, there are two twin bedded rooms, a bathroom and a separate wc.

Downstairs there are two more bedrooms; a large double bedded room with its own East facing verandah overlooking the garden and pool, and a fourth bedroom containing twin beds. These share a large bathroom, which has separate shower cubicle.

Upstairs there is a spacious light, airy lounge with an East facing balcony, which has extensive views over the valley.

The villa's heating and hot water is by electricity, which is included in the price. There is ample parking space to the rear of the villa via a private drive. It is possible to provide bed linen by prior arrangement. There is no key holding service or caretaker. The low prices reflect this. A key is posted to clients two weeks before the planned holiday and is returned at the end of the holiday. Clients are trusted to leave the villa in a clean and tidy condition, since no cleaning service is provided. The villa is inspected after each departure. This has worked very well for the clients and us in the past.

The large private swimming pool, which is 10 x 5 metres, is in the garden below the villa. It is enclosed with a lockable gate, and has a fully paved patio. It is for the sole use of villa guests. It is not heated, but it is fully maintained.
