I hit upon the Keinton website whilst reseaching my family tree, it is excellent. I can identify the person on the right beside the baker's van. He was my uncle Alec (Cook). He lived in 1 Row lane. I remember going with him one evening to prepare the bread for the following day. It was the first time I heard crickets chirping. My aunt, Doris Cook was an assistant in Grant's Grocery shop. The cottage now known as Stonemasons cottage was originally The Masons Arms and there is evidence of the skittle alley in the garden. Roger Cook 8 Jan 09
