Necrarch

Mounted or on foot. Compared to the Blood Dragons these models are pretty poor, which is a pity, as they have some of the best Bloodlines. Although the mounted model isn't too bad, the foot Vampire looks like it is wearing a split skirt! This shouldn't be a problem (other than looking daft), but the visible leg is only slightly bent at the knee, making it look like the Necrarch is halfway between standing and walking (but not accelerating!). This highlights the fact that the entire model is not very dynamic. It is one of the most statue-esque models I have ever seen. With a little conversion work it would probably be quite a good model - like the mounted Necrarch, which is far more dynamic. One problem with it though is the horse: it is alive, but at least has reasonable headgear.

Mounted: - loses a star because of the horse.

Foot:- shame about the pose.
