THE ADELPHI |
Commonly referred to as Mr Armfield's Adelphi, this was the place where Wednesday were born in September 1867.
The pub continued to be Wednesday's base for the first 20 years of their existence.
The Adelphi was also the starting point for Yorkshire Cricket Club and Sheffield United.
The Adelphi was demolished to make way for the Crucible, though there is a commemorative plaque on the wall of Crucible.

THE EARL OF ARUNDEL AND SURREY (Queens Road) |
Used as a dressing room for Olive Grove before it received its own facilities.

SHEAF HOUSE |
The public house at the corner of the Sheaf House Grounds, which were used by the Owls for several years.

At the top of Myrtle Road, this is the most obvious after match hostelry for matches at the Owls' Myrtle Road ground.
