The Great Escape

The final match of the season was at home to Villa.

Spurs were off relaxing on a tour of Holland - secure in the knowledge that there was no way on Earth that all the results could conspire to send them down - I mean what were the chances of that happening!

The Green'Un reported on the Match

"A prophet had declared that if Wednesday didn't win there'd be a riot.............Another of the lads declared this morning that every true Wednesdayite would be at the match with a ginger beer bottle in one hand and half a brick in the other."
