1950's and 1960's Trade Cards

Turf cigarettes were made by Carreras.
These cards were printed in blue and white on the slide inserts which went into packs - 1 in a pack of 10, 2 in a pack of 20.

Chix
Chix Confectionary of London made bubble gum, from which could be obtained 3 series of football cards in the early 50's.
The 1st series of 48 cards came out in 1951. The first 24 were drawn and the second were photos.
Series 2 and 3 were all photographs and followed in 1952 and 1953.
All three current Wednesday players came out with the Chix No. 1 series - but Eddie Quigley, who had been transferred to Preston and from Preston to Blackburn Rovers, appeared in Chix No.2, and Jackie Sewell, who had appeared in Chix No.1 as a Wednesday player, appeared in Chix no.3 for Aston Villa.

This rather crude computer card is reminiscent of the Durling cards. There is not information on the back of the card.

These pictures were cut from a football comic of the late 60's, though I'm not sure which one.
