History

Formed by Arsenal Community Liaison Officer Vic Akers in 1987. 

Team amalgamated with Aylesbury Ladies. 

Initially the team played in the Home Counties League, but with the reorganisation they moved over to the Greater London to give them a way into the National League.

In 2001-02 Arsenal were the first English club to go into the UEFA Cup, losing 3-2 in extra time to French Champions, Toulouse.
