The foreground shows the twisted brick chimneys of Bollingtons (the Guild hall) and the roof of the church above the alter. Curving to the right is the main road out of the village through Minnow End and on to Little Waltham. The buildings on the right are Church Housen arms houses dating from 1896. The white houses mid right are in Hatchfields part of the Model Village. To the left is the parkland of Langleys planned and laid out nearly 300 years ago.
