This photograph was shot from a kite we were flying from the roof of our home in Dulwich, London. We mounted the medium-format camera to a device that travelled up the line under sail. A trigger at the top of the line released the camera shutter and the sail, allowing the whole unit to run back down the line so that we could wind on the film for the next shot. The road in the foreground is Gilkes Crescent. .
