Tolerance

I can't accept the current point of view
That if you're mugged or raped, that's down to you.
They say, "You really can't be all that bright
To walk around all by yourself at night."

Insurance companies won't meet your claim:
If you don't bolt your door, then you're to blame,
And if some vandal kicks my windows in,
They blame the area I'm living in!

We're told to just accept the situation:
We're living in a cruel and violent nation.
.....How long before we all wear special vests
In case some nutcase shoots us in the chest?
