| Virtually all of the census returns of Ireland were burned in 1922. The extract below is a little of what now remains and I have been very fortunate in that the areas of my research was part of which survived. In addition virtually all Church records were also destroyed. However Kilmore Cathedral and the parish of Kildrumferton survived. Without this information my research would have been virtually impossible. | |
