Allied Law contains within it experience of aspects of criminal law ranging from theft to motoring offences.

For example; you live in a block of flats and your neighbours keep you "up till all hours" with their amplified rave music crashing and thumping through the ceiling. Worse still, they invite their more intellectual friends around for a "bring a needle" party and then go around terrorising their immediate neighbours by banging on the doors with their "size nines".

Fortunately, the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 makes it possible for either the Police or local authority to apply to a Magistrates Court for an Anti-Social Behaviour Order. In theory it should be a simple matter to prevent such behaviour in future because the order is a civil remedy, and thus the standard of proof is lower than with a criminal matter, but such orders do have criminal penalties, the maximum being two years imprisonment.

Therefore, if you want urgent or "out of office hours" advice and assistance on any of the following: theft, motoring offences, breach of the peace or neighbour nuisance etc. etc. then please send an e-mail to-
