Allied Law contains a wealth of experience on most aspects of litigation, ranging from consumer matters to personal injury claims.

For example, you can easily imagine that you've just spent the remains of your lottery winnings on a brand new Ferrari 360, and that you've let your mother-in-law take it for a spin… literally. Madge not only manages to bend your gleaming 360, but hits a few other cars in the bargain. The first problem you encounter is that you are now "skint" and worse still, the 360 wasn't insured for other drivers. Neither does Madge's insurance policy cover her for vehicles owned by an other.

Your mother-in-law is in trouble, as it is an offence under the Road Traffic Act 1984 to drive a vehicle without a minimum of third party insurance cover. Secondly, the owners of the cars she's hit have only a couple of options, to sue Madge or claim from the Motor Insurance Bureau, and they should be made aware that they must present their claim to the M.I.B. within seven days of the accident otherwise their claims may fail.

Therefore, if you want urgent or "out of office" advice and assistance on any of the following: consumer rights, small claims, personal injury, or motoring matters etc. etc. then please send an e-mail to-
