This site is about the underground world of Devon and Cornwall; Originally Celtic lands, inhabited by a race of romantic yet stoic people, with a deep sense of mystery, folklore and superstition. Like the aardvark, they are a burrowing breed. A fascinating race of people which has now spread throughout the world, wherever minerals and metal ores can be found, in the echoing labyrinths of the underworld of mines. So if you are imaginative enough to enter and explore the darkest depths of the "aardvark's lair", do so now!

To mines, mining history etc.
To minerals, natural radioactivity, prospecting for mines by canoe, mining legends, Holy wells and prehistoric archeology, minerals and crystals.
To horse riding, insect eating plants, about me, fairies and art.
To THE PENGUIN SITE!, Celtic land food ideas. Equestrian endurance eventing. Find out about you, not me. My friends and work colleagues, and links to other sites.
