General Statement of First Aid cover.

Whilst the Arts Council/Abbey Theatre general staff lists several qualified first aiders, the responsibility for providing adequate first aid cover for performances lies with each individual group/society. 

With this in mind, the NAC has negotiated the provision of a minimum of two representatives on request from
St John Ambulance. 

Each group/society must therefore contact the St John Ambulance using the list provided below to arrange cover for their performances, completing an Event Information Form (appx 1) for each event.

The St John Ambulance ask that a donation be made for their attendances.

There may be times where outside organizations request first aid cover but are unable to arrange themselves. Should this be the case, then NAC will consider booking the SJA at the rate specified above and include this cost on the final invoice for the group involved.

Please ensure that any bookings for St John Ambulance cover are made well in advance to ensure adequate numbers are available for the dates involved.
