Zippy, George and Bungle are now available on badges available from PC World, Currys Digital and Currys stores, in aid of The e-Learning Foundation's 'Switched on Communities' Campaign. We think they're great!

No, your eyes do not deceive you! Nivea is going kitsch in its latest work for its Lip Care Essential product by launching a poster campaign starring Zippy. The ad shows the orange character, who is famed -- and named -- for the zip that spreads across his mouth, with a pair of big Julia Roberts-esqu bee-stung lips. The execution aims to show that the lip balm can turn any mouth, no matter how rough, into a set of luscious kissable lips. The campaign will initially run in university cities and primarily targets students.
A range of Rainbow soft toys from Whitehouse Leisure is available. They look great!

Rainbow has topped a public survey on the most popular pre-school children's TV shows of all-time. The poll, conducted for new magazine 'CBeebies Weekly', saw 1,000 people aged 25-45 pick their favourites. See the full story here.
Zippy was named Britain's favourite sporting celebrity by a landslide
margin in a recent BBC poll.
Zippy stole the show after it was revealed he was a Dundee United supporter. Thanks to John who told us about the story.
Ronnie Le Drew tells us that the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity have used Zippy George and Bungle on badges to help promote their invaluable work. BHS are supporting the Rainbow Appeal 2007 and badges can be found in their stores, or e-mail enquiries@rainbowtrust.org.uk for more information.
Matt Blank, actor, interviewer, DJ and web designer, has advised us that an interview he conducted on May 5 2004 with Roy Skelton, the legendary voice behind Zippy and George, can be found
here. Thanks Matt!
So, if you're one of those people who can't stop wondering just why Bungle wandered around the
Rainbow house with no clothes on by day, but couldn't wait to jump into
his jimjam's at bedtime. Do you wake in the early hours of the morning with a
cold sweat pondering over exactly what sort of creature Zippy might be? Or
perhaps the memory of George dressed as Mrs. Noah still haunts you...

We empathise. We bet it seems that the twice weekly visit to
your psychologist is costing you more than you can afford? The tranquillisers
have lost their potency? The desire to feed your neuroses is driving you (even
more) insane . . . ? Relax, you have come to the right place!
