The first shows Zippy and George doing a spot of gardening (do they want to come and prune my roses?), and the second is George at bathtime. Naomi Yoshikawa sent us these pics from Japan. Naomi says, "I love ZIPPY! I met him when I stayed in Bournemouth since last September til April." Thanks for the photos. Samuel Noonan sent us these pictures of Zippy with his fave web site and Play Station Two. This pic of two pals was sent in by Lee. A picture for our website by James Hall. ThongBabeee says, "I came home from college the other day, and found them all like this, they did mention the circus, but I didnt think they were serious!!!" The following were sent to us by Natasha and were all taken post match (and post copious amounts of alcohol) at Stamford Bridge. Al and H sent us this picture of Zippy enjoying his first (and second) pint of the Black Stuff in Dublin. "His little legs then took him around most of the pubs in Dublin before he chatted up some bird called Molly" we were told, "he was seen the next day with a sore head and claiming to have no money?!?!?" Below is another picture of Zippy's adventures, this time to Chester Zoo. Sent to us by Al and H, they tell us, "he was a bit unsure of the bats and the lions but seemed to take to the giraffes and asked for his picture to be taken with them. Once again, he was asked for his autograph loads of times but the true professional that he is, he signed every one with his paw print!!" Cheers! Paul Osborne popped in to Hamleys when Zippy, George and Bungle made an appearance on 16th March 2002. Jill Palmer sent in this photo of George while on holiday in Cala D'Or, Spain. Anne Freeman sent us this snap of Zippy and George out partying on New Year's Eve 2001!! The next two images came with the following message; 'First picture is Zippy at Niagara Falls Canada. Jamie McGarry who sent us the fantastic flash games which can be found in the Interactive section, predicts that Zippy and Bungle will appear in the new Star Wars movie. It's got to be an improvement on Jar Jar Binks, surely? Andrew and Phillipa have sent us some pictures of the global trotting Zippy! The first new pic shows Phillipa and Zippy looking over The Oslo Fjiord and the second at the top of the world's highest ski jump Holmenkollen. As you can see he didn't sit on his own and did not want Phillipa to let go! Here's Zippy at the Jemirah Beach hotel in Dubia with the world's only Seven Star Hotel, The Al Barjh behind. The next shot shows Zippy soaking up the sun at the Full Moon Island in the Maldives, and then sat relaxing on his balcony. Here he is sat on the beach in the Maldives about to go for a swim. Cool - thanks again! Yvonne Walker mailed us the following pics of Zippy and his Spanish friend Monkey. Thanks! Here's a sight you thought you would never see! Zippy with 'Changing Rooms' Heart Throb Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen. Not really it's Lynette (Zippy) and Steve (Lawrence) from Burton on Trent, at a fancy dress party. Here's a photo of Zippy sharing a rather 'debauched' existence with BA from the A-Team which was sent in by Sophie who says "apparently they met whilst stalking in David and Ruth's garden... The photo was taken on Halloween, hence the festive hat most elegantly modelled by Zippy." Thank you! David and Ruth sent us this great picture of a creature they found stalking in their back garden. He looks ferocious but is easily overpowered and zipped up. Thanks! More sightings of strange beasts. David and Ruth told us,"Last week we caught a beautiful designer cat fishing in our pond,and managed to snap the enclosed picture" "Meanwhile," continued David and Ruth, "we suspect our Zippy has been following world events on TV alittle too closely and has started acting strangely. He's been talking offorming an interim government to rule the recently liberated spare room!" James Cohen sent us some photos of his friend Sophie with Zippy. James says, "I hope you like them - it would be great to see them on the site." Happy to oblige, and thanks for sending the pics! Claire Dixon is responsible for mailing us the following five images of Zippy. Remember not to try these stunts at home, especially reading War and Peace without a safety net. Dee Wetherell sent us the following pic of her boyfriend, Matt and Zippy. Matt has been known by all his friends as Zippy since he went to Uni (years ago). The following pictures feature Alan's11-year-old son, David who has been Rainbow mad since he was two and shows no sign of changing.David is photographed with most of his Rainbow things (and what a collection!). Alan says "The Zippies and Georges might need some explanation. Particularly the pale Zippy with a large head. He was specially made as a replacement for 'Old Zip' which is the one which has completely white eyes and scruffy fur as a result of an accident in the washing machine." "Alien Zip, as he's been named, didn't look enough like Zippy to be a straightswap so he became an additional Zippy. One of the Georges was bought at a car boot sale with a jumper on. He's 'Warm George'." "Recently David had the most infuriating car boot sale experience when we saw a young boy who had bought a very good condition Zippy and wouldn't sell it to us for �5. He'd only paid 50p!! We're still looking for him and are ready to put the price up." The last shot shows David during a visit to the exhibition held by Dudley Museum in 1998. When David, Caroline and Peter visited Australia in April 2000, they just had to take their Zippy along with them! Getting ready to go at Manchester Airport. Nowra Wildlife Park. Taronga Zoo, Sydney. Zippy was not totally impressed with the States, but did enjoythe sights of Alcatraz, the Empire State Building and, of course the Statue of Liberty.Andrew and Phillipa rescued Zippy from Marks and Spencer in Manchester and he is the celebrity in their area. They tell us that after much love and attention over the last ten years, his"flufiness" appears to be somewhat jaded - we think he looks just great!!! Andrew and Phillipa have sent us some more pics of their globe trotting Zippy. Here in Austria he his at the top of the Giasberg lift in Obergurgl: Andrew explains the next two shots; "In the snow he is at the top of the La Salerno Ski range, and the one of me and him, we are in the cable car going from the Sport Hotel Soldeu up to the ski range of Soldeu and El Tarter in Andorra": In Rhodes he his in the Rodos Bay Hotel, Ixia (not too sure about the towel!!): We've been sent some new pictures by Andrew and Phillipa.
