Blc. Chia Lin 'Shinsu' is a Cattleya Classic. It is also known as 'New City' which is a translation of 'Shinsu'. 'Shinsu #1' and 'Shin Shy' are also certainly the same clone. There are several clones of Chia Lin, to my knowledge there are 'New City', 'Shinsu', 'Golden Super', 'Red Rose', 'P.C.T.' Bau Chien Tuan (PCT?) and 'Pauchiten' most of which have received various awards. I have three clones 'Shinsu', 'P.C.T.' and 'Golden Super'. All are good growers, and quite easy to flower, particularly compared to Blc. Owen Holmes 'Mendenhall' which is another similar classic red but difficult.
Plant height is around 18 inches.
Very highly recommended for growth and flower qualities / color.
