A classic from the old Armacost and Royston nursery. Fairly easy to grow and flower, although the buds do dry up more easily than most. This is caused by lack of water during the critical stage of bud development, when they are around 1/4 inch long. Once they get around 1 inch they usually don't abort, even if you forget to water. The flower is more fiery in the flesh, this type of colour is hard to capture digitally. The plant is huge, with many bulbs and will need dividing. It forms multiple leads easily.
