A series of tasks were lined up for our two teams on this Older Scouts' day trip to France.

Starting from Adderbury we took a ferry trip from Dover to Calais.   So how did the teams do?   See below...

Andy Green's Team:
Lawrence Putt, Luke Garrett, Rob Pope

Charlie White's Team:
Howard White, Tom Norton, Adam Source

THE CHALLENGES:
Visit five different French villages

Bought the biggest one possible (and a bigger one than the other team!) in a boulangerie
BOTH TEAMS COMPLETED!

Obtained a town centre street map
BOTH TEAMS COMPLETED!

Visited the statue of 17th century corsair Jean Bart

Visited a fire station

Obtained the autographs of five shop keepers
BOTH TEAMS COMPLETED!

Lawrence, Luke and Rob wonder if this shop keeper will play ball?

Yep, no probs!

Discovered the detail of a second world war battle

Team 2 visited a library and photocopied pages from a book about the war.   We leave it up to you as to whether this counts!!

All done, so who won - work that out for yourself!
