Do you know any of the shops that were in the area? if so, do you know there names and location in the village.
The same applies to the pubs, churches, chapels and buildings, those that are gone and those that are still here.
Have you got or do you know anyone with any photo's that I could use?.
Do you know of an event that took place in previous years?, if so, do you remember the date or can you recollect it ?
Can you say to yourself " I remember so and so, he used to drive a lorry in the village called such and such "
Do you recall where the pits were situated?

I am trying to build this web-site up so it is full of information and pictures so as to leave visitors from inside and outside the area thinking " Those were the days " and " I remember that ". To do this I need your help in gathering this information and these pictures, so if you think you can contribute in some way, however large or small (remember, sometimes all the little pieces of information can be put together to create a complete page) please don't hesitate to contact me.
